Rear parking sensors
Hi all,
Read a few posts on this but got no where. When I put it in to reverse the tone is constant 80% of the time, the other 20% of the time they work fine. I have had a listen to each sensor and they all 'click' clearly. There has been no water in the boot to affect the module in there. Any ideas? Cheers.

You have done good troubleshooting but unfortunately it points to a module problem.
You can take a chance and just change the module or the dealer would be able to narrow it down further. But with more cost. Any chance of having a buddy with an S Type you could swap modules with for a bit of testing??
I would just for the heck of it unplug and re-plug the module a few times. Might be a bit of corrosion in the connector since the trunk is not as clean as the interior of the car.
