Default Rear Power Sun Blind Problem

Hello all! I have noticed that my rear power sun blind is acting odd. As far as I remember, it was working fine when I got the car, and now there is a little issue. First of all, it still goes up and down fine and works as it should, BUT, the problem is, when I push the button to put it down, the motors keep running for about 5 seconds after the blind has been lowered to its place. They do stop, and pressing the button again will raise the bind fine. Then upon lowering it again, the motors will run for those few seconds until they stop. Also, if I lower it, then turn the car off, when I start up again, the first press of the button makes the motors run again, trying to lower it, but it is already down! A second press will raise it and from there on it works again, but still the motors run every time it is lowered. Now, because they shut off, I'm not worried about them burning my car down from overheating or something like that. It's just kind of annoying and I know when I first got the car it didn't do this. It seems to be a more recent thing. Now I have had the back shelf out and looked it over and everything is fine. I was wondering if there was some way to maybe reset the closed position or some way of telling whatever sensor there is that when it's down it's DOWN (just like the power window reset after a battery disconnect). I have tried disconnecting the battery and all that stuff. I can't find anything about what might fix this. Any ideas?

I didn't know that a rear power sunblind was an option when i bought mine...and we have identical cars from what I can gather! Weird.

Have someone push the button while you give a good pull up!

If you do an advanced search on "sun shade" and "Brutal" as the poster, and highlight the "S Type section", the above advise will pop up.
