Rear seat removal help for sound system overhaul
Hi all, new guy here with a 2000 s-type. I recently installed a sat nav in place of the factory radio and have purchased replacement door speakers, amp and subwoofer. I have to run wiring for the amp in the trunk and then from the amp to the doors; 3 sets of RCAs and 4 pairs of speaker wires, etc. Any tips on removing the seats would be great, especially the rear. I found some info on here for removing the door panels, but couldn't find anything on the seats.
now some gear ****...
6.5" Phoenix Gold RSD components, Rockford Fosgate 5 channel amp, JVC in dash nav, dvd, mp3, rearview cam, bluetooth. Still undecided on a subwoofer, going to use an old kicker for the meantime.
Still have to do a little work with the radios included trim ring to get everything looking nice. The fit is really tight, but it's in there.
Fished the radios USB cable into the center drawer, I have a 250 gig portable HDD that plugs into the USB cable to play mp3s.
