Default Rear supercharger bolt location

We're taking off the supercharger and trying to determine if there are
three or four bolts and where rear bolts are located.

Thanks

One center bolt for the supercharger. Two bolts that hold the intake elbow down

Thank you,

The driver side intake elbow bolt took us a long time to break loose and
get access. She's half naked, today we'll spend cleaning her up and
putting together a final parts list.

Cut a slot in rear bolt hole on the supercharger. That way you can put the intake elbow on before you remount the s/c and just slide the s/c under the bolt.

Thanks.

I recall reading about doing that, some time back, and had forgotten.

While the supercharger is still out, is there a safe solution to flush the supercharger with .. to clean the rotors and housing?

We've changed the oil.

On the intake elbow I used brake parts cleaner, but I left the rotors alone. You could most likely use diesel fuel to clean it, but as the buildup wasnt as bad as what was on the TB and intake elbow, I left it alone

Same here on the build up, had lots of gunk on the throttle body and intake elbow, but the rotors in the supercharger looked ok. A tech at the local dealership advised not introducing any chemicals that could later impact the bearings.

On the reinstall, does slotting the rear mounting bolt allow sliding the supercharger in after reinstalling intake elbow? Or does it just help to get the bolt started? Seems it would be easier to remount the intake elbow without the supercharger in the way. But, would we then be able to tighten down the rear mounting bolt?

Thanks in advance.

Yes slotting allows you to mount the intake elbow to the s/c before you put it back on. I test fit the s/c a few time to get the bolt as low as I could and used some red loctite on the bolt as well. You cannot tighten down the rear mounting bolt, but you can install the 2 bolts that hold the intake elbow down. Shaved a lot of frustration and time off as you don't have to try to get to the bottom two intake elbow bolts.
