rear suspension groaning help!!
I have had the same problem for 3 months. I have a 2003 s type base 3.0. 70k miles
I have a groaning (creaking ) sound when hitiinbg bumps at low speeds or bouncing on the right rear end. I have taken wheel off , put jack under body and slowly jack up bottom of brake rotor. at about half of suspension travel i start hearing the squeaking and it seems to be coming from the pin-bushing from the upper control arm where it attaches to the knuckle. Is this a likely diagnosis??
I assume that changing the arm is the only solution if that is true. I cant find a bushing separatly. would you spend 98 on used or 320 for new upper control arm. Sorry for the long post.
Thanks
