Good luck. I don’t envy you the job of rebuilding a V8 engine that is shoehorned into a space barely big enough for a V6.

Pay particular attention to the information on valve timing outlined on page 74 of the PDF (page 26 of the course). Correct timing is 45 degrees ATDC, not TDC.

Two other points on the AJ33:
- Under no circumstances is the crankshaft to be rotated in an anti clock direction as damage to the main and rod bearing is the result when viewed from the front. This may not apply in your situation since you intend to overhaul the engine.
- DO NOT use the crankshaft holding tool to hold the crankshaft whilst removing the front pulley 24mm bolt as damage to the timing disc is possible.

just used a long beaker bar and pushed the remote start button while i was at front of car
