Wondering if anyone has ever fitted or considered fitting a remote oil filter kit. Maybe moving the filter to a more accessible location might be possible? The oil drain could be extended via a pipe. This could make oil changes faster? I have a 3.0 engine. I searched for a compatible kit but found nothing specific. I expect the filter thread is common with some other Ford engines.

Marine engines all have remote filters now, but moving it on a car is rare. On my 4.0 engine, it is right on the front and easily accessed. Not all engines are that way. If you look at marine conversions and they fit, it works well. Good luck with that.
