Default Removal of S-Type R Headrests?

I have searched all the threads here and have yet to find an answer on how to remove the motorized headrests in my '07 STR so I can install some much-needed sheepskins before the Arizona temperatures hit triple digits.
Anyone have a definitive answer on how to get these out without breaking something?
Thanks!

Download a copy of the workshop manual from jagrepair.com and go to page 3020 which is the section about the seats.

Pop the back panel off the seat. To do this, just grap at an edge and yank. It has 4 christmas tree fasteners. If you put the headrest all the way down you should see a plastic bracket (green?) that attaches to the headrest. If you take a good grip near where it attaches and give it a twisting motion while pulling down, it should pop right off. It is a ball-and-socket type arrangement.

Great, thanks for the info (both of you)

Followup: The job was a snap. One note: seat panels are easiest to remove by sliding to the left at top.
