Removing brake booster vac line?

Hi everyone-
Sorry for such a basic question, but I just wanted to double check with you all before doing something that could screw up the car
.
I have been having a bit of a rough idle lately and I can swear I hear a bit of a rushing sound coming from near the brake booster. I wanted to check out the vacuum line for cracks, etc., but this is where I'm having a problem. In every other car I've played around with, it was fairly evident what the vacuum line was, and it was held onto the nipple with a regular [spring-type] hose clamp. On my 2005 S-Type it isn't as clear. What appears to be the vac line is behind and to the right of the fluid reservoir on the brake booster. Instead of a regular hose clamp, there is a 90-degree elbow that seems to rotate into place somewhat like a headlight bulb would- a quarter turn or so would allow it to pop out of place. Is this the right line that I'm looking at? Also, if this is the right line, do I have to rotate it out of place, or is it attached via some other method besides a hose clamp?
Thanks so much for any help in advance.
