Unhappy Repaired blown head gasket, now it won't start

Hello all, I have a 2003 S-Type 3.0 that had a blown head gasket. I have replaced all necessary parts and now the car won't start. The car was still running when I started the breakdown. I have had heads redone, replaced all timing chain cover gaskets, head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, oil, antifreeze and spark plugs. I set the timing from info gained here. The car turns over but won't start. I'm presently having the battery charged. All help greatly appreciated. Any ideas?

Check the inertia switch under the dashboard - drivers side near the front door - ensure the red button is depressed - also, double check all your connections - especially fuel connections.

Did you check fuel pressure upon turning the ignition on? If so, what is it?

Often it's something related to the work done - a harness that's pulled off a connector or whose insulation decided to flake off or whatever.

You'll of course need proper battery power. Then it's just a petrol engine (air, fuel, compression, spark, you know the stuff), so diagnose same as any other.

I haven't checked the fuel pressure yet, I'll check it and the inertia switch and get back to you. Thank You.

Taic00, you're in good hands. Often times the problem is staring you in the face.

Its going to be a wire harness connection you forgot about or the timing is not correct.

After cranking it for a bit you should get a code to come up which will lead you to the problem.

Hello all, started on the car again today. It turns out the timing is off as suggested. I replaced the timing chain, however the chains didn't have the timing marks on them. I used a counting of links to set the timing which obviously was incorrect. Does anyone know the correct number of links or another way to set the correct timing? Thanks in advance.

There are marks on the cam gears to be set in a specific position, perhaps at 12:00, then chain is applied. Ask AVOS or Brutal.

I see the marks on the cam gears, but I don't have marks on the chains to match them to. How do I ask someone specific a question?

I'm not using a guide everything that I have done I've gotten from this board. I have gotten some info from an online Chilton resource. Where can I get the alldatadiy?
