Default Replaced Fuel Filter 2005 S-Type 4.2 V8

Hello readers...I was going through factory scheduled maintenance list that a auto shop gave me when I took to get my engine oil changed a few months back, and seen "Replace Fuel Filter at 60K" and thought this might be why I'm getting HORRIBLE gas mileage. I then investigated JaguarForums on S-Type Fuel Filter replacement and learned where it was located & how to replace...I then headed out to a local auto parts store and bought a new WIX branded fuel filter for $12..WIX brand probably isn't the best but that's all they had in stock and is a hell of a lot better than the WIX fuel filter from hell that was on there. I mainly used this article (jaghelp.com: Changing the fuel filter on a 2002 Jaguar S-Type 3.0L V6) to help me with locating & replacing the filter..very basic and good instructions, thanks to who ever created it.

I read some post where folks said to wear goggles LOL...I didn't think it would be that bad and I left out the goggles...and man when I disconnected the fuel line that thing sprayed like Old Faithful

After removing the old fuel filter I drained it and couldn't believe how dirty the fuel was. Hopefully this new filter improves my gas mileage a bit.

While in the wheel well area I noticed that some parts of it were broken...I know some of it was broken because I kinda broke it a bit while going up my driveway a few months ago...but didn't think it all that ! If anyone knows where I could buy a new front drivers side wheel well or the part that is broken in the image below online please reply or message me with link.

Thanks for reading !

To save money, and because it's put of sight, have you considered repairing it? Fiberglass maybe?

...or QuikSteel epoxy putty. Dries hard very quickly.

Yea I might go that route guys...why spend hundreds of dollars on a new replacement when the piece that's broken isn't even visible with the wheel on.
