So I want to get my front bumper replaced due to some damage on the bottom of it from a minor car accident.

Anyway it's a 2000 s type, but I was wondering if a bumper from an 08 s type would fit on it, I like the look to the 08 s type. Is that even possible?

P.s. I know very little about cars any help would be appreciated.

 

There's a guy in the UK who has bought the later bumper from ebay and says that everything will fit just fine but you'll also have to buy a new undertray. I also like the bumper in question and found and bought one from a 2007 car to fit on my 2003 car, also on ebay. The bumper should be delivered today or tomorrow so I'll let you know if it will fit, if it doesn't I'll put it back on ebay.

 

Do you think that the new alu bonnet will be suitable to a 03 S TR?
I guess it could be possibly done but I have no evidence on this

From what can be seen on the surface the only different parts between 2000 to 2004 and the 05 and up cars is the hood, fascia, and grill. One note, the plastic cowl may different as well since the hood line looks higher at the windscreen. Also, the 00 to 04 cars have hood mounted windshield washers while the 05 and up cars have them mounted on the wiper arm (AND I HATE IT). Other than that it looks like the fenders are identical therefore it would be reasonable to say that you could switch over to a later nose... Now the bumper only would be a problem since I don't know how an 05 and up grill (that you will need since the older grill won't fit in the bumper) will line up with the earlier design hood. I don't think they will work or line up, but that is something that is too hard to tell by pictures alone.
