Hi guys - Less than 2 years ago, I replaced all of my tires with Khumos.They haveperformed much poorer than expected, so for anyone looking at tires, Khumos ( in my opinion ) arenot the way to go.

Here's my question: I'm currently running 235-50-17s.Is there any advantage to running 235-45-17s? or running 50srear and 45s front? Just wanted your opinions, thanks.

(for S-type, no suspension modifications.)

 

I think 245/45 x 17 would be good on all 4 corners. A little harsher ride but a little more grip.

If I'm not mistaken this size is a tire rack recomendation. 45 is a little lower
and 245 is a little wider thats why you have to go to 45. If you did a 245/50
than I think you would have rubbing problems.

I think Kazsam is giving you very goodadvise and go with it.
I run Toyo on mine, the best tire I think. Mine are 245x45x18"s nice ride.
