Go to any AutoZone, PepBoys or Sears and get the codes read without them it would be hard to say what is going on. Then tell us what kind of car model and year car we are talking about because you do not have it in your signature. As for an OBD reader you will have many to choose from and this link will help. I just found out the other day if your posting mobil you sig won't come up... Just FYI.

A lot of codes at once could always be the battery. If it's moisture related a lot of guys get TB codes and restricted proformamce from the sensors getting wet and corrosion.

Get the codes and I am sure they can't get you on the right track.

Sounds like water getting in the electrical connections at the throttle body.

That seems to be the problem lately, but getting the codes will help confirm.

Every time I remove a plug / connector I clean the connectors with CRC contact cleaner, check the connectors for a snug fit and add CRC Di-Electric grease (in moderacy). It keeps it clean, dry and has eliminated a few of the poltergeist situations.

It doesn't need to be wet when you look, either wet or damp before you looked will do
It can also be water leaking from the windshield (here: windscreen) washers.

Others have had this so Search can help but concentrate on V8 engines, especially the STR, because the TB and other items move (but, for example, all V8s have the same water-in-plug-wells problem if water gets in).

Another place: look in the trunk near & under spare tire for any signs at all of damp/water. (And do another Search.)

Don't go to the dealer as this is fairly easy DIY, certainly as yet.

As others have said.... Water is the enemy... Here is what happens: Water drains from the windshield cowl onto the back of the engine.. On the R the throttle body is mounted to the rear. It gets wet and water gets into the throttle position sensor connector..Then all h*ll breaks loose. Do a search on Limp Mode and you will see a great many threads about this. Some may be linked in the FAQ section at the top of the S Type page.

First thing I would do is what Gus talked about. Pull the connectors, clean with contact cleaner then apply the die-electric grease... I did that when I had my 05.. Used to take it through the self serve, hose it off car wash during the winter... also used to spray down the engine with Gunk engine cleaner about twice a year and hosed the engine off with the garden hose...Traded it with over 70k on the clock and never had a Limp Mode issue...

flight... means car stalled in a certain way so for now ignore it (won't cause RP)
the other may be transient, clear it and see

Use this link to interpret the codes http://www.gusglikas.com/images/Auto...tos/P20003.PDF the codes refer to a stumble. This problem could by electrical or fuel but with the rain I would venture to say it is electrical. I would first check the TB connections because it seems to be a common problem in the past.

Default dealer says

p0332, p0301.p0303.p0307 he states water is running down the wiring harness and getting on the coils, $60 a coil to replace-$650 labor he said i could remove coils and put a thin bead of silicone on and that would fix that... and the knock sensor code( i put 87 octane in last week and it would chatter under hard acceleration)- i am gonna have em clear it and run a tank of 94 octane and see what happens as he states the knock sensor is inside the engine and is about $900 to replace- sooo ummm nooo... i am gonna keep this car covered when not in use also to see if this helps..
