The stickies have the codes PDF and also JTIS. Both have what you need to see what those are and what the causes are. Also on Gus's site.
With so many I'd say the battery is #1 suspect. Probably failing.
With so many about all you can do is note all the details, clear, and see which come back and in what order.

I tried again today to hook on the OBDII and the outcome is:
(a) at first PO102 (powertrain:MAF sensor low frequency) code came up as a pending code. There was no trobled or stored codes
(b) secondly, after clearing the code above, I tried to scan once more and two codes came up
1. stored code P0333 (powertrain knock sensor 2 circuit high input bank 2
2. P1000 (no definition found)
Then I cleared both codes and drove around with OBDII on. The only code that came on was P1000
And the other message I got was, MIL off
That was the outcome today, thanks Hon members, I really appreciate you help.

I'm just coming from two garages to have the battery tested. Both said that the battery is fine and it hold on power. The last garage (Halfords) tested both the battery and the alternator whilst the AC, head lamps and radio on and the conclusion was, both are function fine.
Thanks

Well you have a lot less codes now!
Don't worry about P1000 it is a readiness code and will eventually turn into P1111. Only worry about this if you need to get the car inspected. You MUST have P1111 before any emissions testing is done. Just driving around will set the readiness monitors. Nothing special to do.
Can you post the battery resting voltage and the battery voltage when the car is running? What everyone is trying to say is just checking the battery might not be enough.
What is the age of the battery?
Has the MAF ever been cleaned or removed?

I bought this car last year in December, not sure of battery history and MAF at all. The battery voltage: when cold 12.0V; when engine running 15.2V and soon after turning off engine 12.7V. These voltages have just been taken now.
But one thing I forgot to mention is that the air filter housing has a crackat the edge where the clip holds. I don't know if this can cause any malfunction of the car.

12.0 is low
15.2 shows the alternator is putting out plenty
12.7 is because it's not had chance to drop to its true value
Any crack that lets air in can be a nightmare for codes. If it's after the air filter (in terms of air flow), it may also allow dirt in, which can then cause trouble such as affecting MAF readings.

Hello sir, as you suggested I cleared the codes and drove the car almost 180 miles. Then once or twice the 'restricted performance' light came on, and few miles down the road the engine management' light also came on and remained there.
So I scanned and the same codes came back: P0333 and P1000. The performance of the car was just fine; I could go up to 90 mph all ok
Any suggestions sir?
I will do the general service: (plugs, oil, oil and fuel filter, upper manifold gaskets). I will do this because no service has been done since last year when I bought it. The only service I did was to change the transmission oil and transmission sump and sleeve because it could only engage two gears (reverse and one forward one) and the prob is gone now.
Thanks once more.

Hello hon members, I want to ask for your advice, as I've been search on different threads on the codes that keep coming up (code P0333 and P1000), I've noted that most people who have changed the LH knock sensor have managed to eleminate the problem. Is it a good idea to change the LH knock sensor as I will be changing the plugs, IMT valve o-ring upper manifold gaskets etc soon.
Please advise
Thanks
