Default Reverse Servo Housing Cover

Hello All, Recent victim of transmission shift problems and new member of Jaguar Forum here. Followed advice found over numerous posts regarding tranny flush, filter replace and inspection of valve body. In the process of all, however upon close inspection of the reverse servo housing, noticed the micron mesh filter screen (round screen on bottom of cover) had a button-sized hole in it along with a couple of tears. Pulled the servo completely off (4 bolts) and disassembled. Found all kinds of gunk and dirty fluid caked inside the housing and cleaned all. Was actually able to pop out the screen but could not save the metal ring it was pressed into. Trying to locate a new filter screen but looks like I may have to go with finding a new housing (Part #XW4P-7B193AC). Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated. Should not be that hard to find?

I would call these guys. They have lots of parts and claim to build 5R-55's to handle up to 1000 HP!

After unsuccessful search of the screen element for the reverse servo housing cover, decided to slap everything back together with a temp fix; found some fine screen material, cut it to size and was able to seat it into the retaining ring. Pressed the ring back into the cover and viola! Will continue to look for the right part but the bottom line is with the temp fix, new springs in the valve body and fresh tranny fluid, we are now back on the road with a smooth shifting gear box. Thanks to all for your views and related posts. Could not have accomplished this repair without help from the jaguar forum. R/Manny
