I like the wheels. And the grille light covers. And that is about it. Interior is tacky IMHO, front bumper is horrid, the rear end makes it look like the car is lifted in the back.

Brings to mind the Local Motors Rally Fighter kit car. http://www.local-motors.com/rallyFighter.php

Thanks everyone.
We use low-rider special and pimped-out as well over here. The insults are multicultural over here. I'm not sure this one fits any one of those categories either.

This might help explain what it's like here?

Is custom OK?

Well the term does come from the hondas and acuras that you probably have by the millions in your country that have fart cans, wings and stickers galore lol.

This is why you need good friends that will stop you from "modding" when you are drunk. Seems like a good idea at the time but then you see her in the daylight and its all regrets...

I lke a little custom touch here and there, but you have to know when enough is enough.

What is wrong with it? There isn't really bling in it, just the type of stitching that high end automakers use.

I dont think the interior is bad. I just dont think its for the S type. The S type is more elegant and that interior is more like Bentley or Mercedes. Just dont go with the styling of the S type. The exterior on the other hand wow what were they thinking.

The best thing about the exterior is that it's not as horrid as the interior.

I so hate carbon fiber looks.

All that modification and they stuck with the factory tape deck?

Good lord lighten up. I have Asian friends that use the term and don't have an issue with it.

Other than the side mirrors, which are way too small, I find the overall styling more interesting than the stock S Type. I guess aesthetics is in the eye of the beholder!

IMO the whole point, raison d'etre if you like, of the S-type is that its is RETRO. Same fashion trend as with the Beetle, Fiat 500. Tarting up an S-type like this is just a mistake; it doesn't work. It's a bit like buying a charming victorian house, then refurbing the interior in minimalist style. A car, it could be said, is a work of art as much as a machine. Altering someone else's creation? Not on.

Hideous. Looks like a goofy mouse with goofy mice teeth over the air dam in front. Why did they decide to block intercooler flow? And I love widebody conversions as much as the next guy but on most cars, especially sedans, it takes more than extremely flared fenders. You need to widen out more than just around the wheels for better air flow, and for better aesthetics. There is nothing proper about this car. Its a complete failure.
