Default A rite of passage

Yesterday I decided to change the spark plugs on my recently acquired 2000MY 3.0 S Type. Thanks to the forum, I knew what a task it was going to be to change the ones under the inlet manifold. Had a really good time doing it, but along with an oil and filter change, it took me all day. There may be other cars out there which make it more difficult to change the Spark Plugs, but not many I would guess.

Still, with 192,000 on the clock and me likely to do only 2-3000 in it each year, they should be the last ones!!

Well done.

My first one took all day also, now that manifold is off inside 30 minutes.

The mighty V12 still holds first place for plug change challenges.
