Received an e-mail overnight from rockauto.com announcing a close-out sale on certain S-Type parts that will be discontinued in their inventory once they run out. Clicked on the link and saw brake pads for less than $10 (including some Brembo pads), oxygen sensors for less than $100, various caliper parts, etc. They appear to have less than ten of most of these items and are apparently looking to clear out their parts bins. Those of you who are planning brake pad replacement in the near future may want to check it out....

A big thanks to Jon for posting this. I wouldn't have otherwise thought of looking at RockAuto for some of the parts they have available.


I went to the site looking for some rotors for my STR. Those are indeed very good prices for the Centric rotors, but just be aware that RockAuto will likely charge you $67 for shipping, negating much of the lower price benefit compared to other vendors.

I ended up ordering these rotors through Amazon.com for $325, shipping included.

 

Yep, you have be careful on the total price.
