Ditto to tbird. Wondering if the stock pads' dust is corrosive to the wheels?

Ditto - Ditto!!

Here is a shot of the Brake Perfromance Rotors on my STR... Sorry the Cynus wheels dont let you see a whole lot of the rotor, but maybe its more enticing because you have to do a double take!! ;-)

Amazon.com and Tirerack.com. Both have the Akebono pads for our cars.

I like the rotors no squeal at all, you will notice there is a little noise on heavy breaking due to the slots in the rotors but I wouldnt call it noise per se...

I also have cross-drilled rotors front and back from Brakeperformance. Had them on a car for about a year. No noise or any vibrations at all. I also run Akebono ceramic pads and those are virtually dust-free. I highly recommend them.

hotstr - Doubt they are STR with brembo's specific rotors, most likely for the regular V8 cars, but I could be wrong, it is a very common issue when looking up pads/rotors for the brembo equipped R cars, most places will insist they will fit your R, only to find out when they arrive, they in fact, do not. You can contact them and ask for the specs on the front rotors, should be 365mm diameter rotors for the R, if they're smaller, they're the wrong ones,

You're going to be hard pressed to beat the price from brakeperformance.com, trust me, i looked everywhere for the bottom dollar price on R rotors, that's the best place I could find that also didn't mess about with R-specific rotor sizes, so you don't waste your time taking delivery of non-R parts.

+1 for 365mm for Brembo STRs.
