Maybe. Maybe not :-)
There are SO many variables involved.
First there's the design of the system....which may not be optimal even if it isn't defective. Then we have driver variables, which can be significant.
The first time the brakes are replaced/repaired we have repair quality and replacement parts variables. A great braking system can be bollixed up by a lazy mechanic. The most attentive mechanic in the world can be thwarted if he chooses the wrong parts. And, actually, the parts don't have to be "wrong"...but may have different operating characteristics yielding different results.
If the braking system design is barely adequate for the intended usage there's not much that can be done by even the best mechanic. OTOH, a braking system that is perfectly adequate for intended usage can be overcome by poor driving habits or clearly driving beyond design intent.
Well, enough rambling.....
Cheers

1. you could take the car to any garage to have the lube installed
2. you could do it yourself
3. if you are *sure* you have lots of pad left on *all* four corners, you may have developed pad deposits on the rotors or failed to bed them in properly. find a deserted road, do several hard rolling stops from highway speed. that is, brake hard until almost stopped and then get off the brakes, accelerate for the next stop. on the last stop, let the last bit of motion roll out with the foot off the brake, sit and let the rotors cool with the foot off the brake.
