I have installed a phone module in boot off eBay 2W93-19K350-AD & installed a BTUM module in centre glove box which has the 8 wire system. I have disconnected the battery for 30 mins but still says NO PHONE on the display (small screen not sat nav) ANY HELP !!

you need to program the car so it knows a phone is fitted

Hi
Had to do this in mine, early cars are prewired for phone handsets not bluetooth
you have to rearrange the wires in the arm rest connector and phone module connector to bluetooth wiring
once the wiring is done, if the phone module and bluetooth module came out of a car of similar spec, it may be preconfigured and should be plug and play, mine was
If I remember right only 2 are in the right place
you have to remove the red clip cover, on the connector, this unlocks the terminals, then you need a fine precision flat screw driver, you poke it down a slot, then the wire/terminal slides out
also your going to need a microphone, the one in the interior light is useless, external mic plug in where the other is/was
cheers
Joe
wiring has to be like this
phone module pin 1 to bluetooth connector pin 3
phone module pin 26 to bluetooth connector pin 2
phone module pin 2 to bluetooth connector pin 8
phone module pin 3 to bluetooth connector pin 9
phone module pin 6 to bluetooth connector pin 1
phone module pin 10 to bluetooth connector 7
phone module pin 22 to bluetooth connector 6
phone module pin 20 to bluetooth connector pin 5

You don't need to program the car, and you shouldn't have to mess with the wiring either. Our 03 STR didn't come with a phone or bluetooth, but, I added it. The VIN was even before the supposed 'prewire' for bluetooth, but I got the two modules, plugged them in, didn't mess with the wires and it all worked perfect. Since your car is an 04, it should all be plug and play. Based on the part number for the PSE it is correct, and as far as I know, any of the BTUM is fine. The only thing I can think of is did you add the PSE to the D2B network in the correct place? I know there is a specific order things need to be in so they are seen by the car in the correct order on startup.
Now, I know you are in the UK, but the cars should be wired the same, and here in Canada, we basically get the UK cars.
