This 2000 jaguar 3.0 hs a new fuel rail and injectors, new coils, compression on all cylinders at 120 dry and 150 with oil put in the cyl. I am now looking at the left banks two came what could be the problem with this car.I heard a boom from the left bank and them it started running sluggish,lose of power,rough idle,miss firing. The gas tank has been cleaned, the tank on the drivers side does not have gas in it? The fuel pump is new. I could use the best jaguar mech. out there. Car has sat up over 3years, help help help S-O-S Patrick

I think - you can check the electrical guide - there are 2 pumps, where 1 is a transfer from side to side.

 

What should I do, go back to the delivery pumps,fuel tank,? This car has had the fuel tanks cleaned, then filled up with 93 octane 10 % ethanol and runs like crap. This car average cost per. Mile is $1.50. It is beautiful. If you can break the voodoo on this car, I will send coodoo's your way. Help Patrick

 

Sounds like you need an expert jag tech to do it. You might do best to put serious effort into finding someone who genuinely knows these specific cars really well. Don't assume every dealer has someone like that.
