Hi Nicolai . . . yes; doable . . . but a spare set of hands will help at the critical time to avoid scratching the nearby paint. There are a few tricky bits, but suggest you need to have the relevant workshop manuals, available for download here in the Stickys at top of this section.
In addition, use the forum's Search Tools because I know I have seen posts on here within recent months - one or two with useful pics. Yep; under the broad theme of replacing the grille centre with after-market mesh (a la STR).
Best wishes . . . and post back results, eh?

Just did it. It was rather easy. The grill is held in place be 4 screws and three clips. Two of the screws are easily visible in the upper part of the grill and the other two are located a bit down on the grill. When you unscrew them the only thing holding the grill are the clips. You can unclip them with the help of a flat screwdriver. Two of the clips are next to the lower screws and the other one is at the bottom of the grill. That`s about it. Reverse procedure to install the new grill. Also I would add that I was very surprised to understand that there are several kinds of grills intalled throughout the production cycle of the model. If you are about to replace your grill look very carefully which one is the correct grill for your car.
