Default S Type headlights

Is it me or are the headlights on this car crap I have a 2007 model XS and love the car, apart from the headlights. i have fitted Bosche replacement bulbs which make it better but still a long way from my old Vectra b with xenons Does anyone know if I was to buy all the bits from a scrapped S type with Xenons Whether I could fit them to mine.Would all the bits bought have to be from a 2007 model.

Roger, I believe someone converted their standard to Xenons.

See below thread in post #4.

You can't just fit the OE kind. You'll need self-level, sensors & powerwash plus module, ballast etc.

I believe quite a few have found the OE lights are fine except the lenses need cleaning or replacing - much easier job and far cheaper.

Wasn't as simple as I had originally thought. The following thread is the one I was thinking of. JagV8 is correct about the self levelers, modules and the whole MOT business.
