S-Type Nav to Non-Nav Conversion

S-Type Nav to Non-Nav Conversion
As the title says, I'm trying to see if anyone has taken the nav unit out and swapped for the non-nav unit.
I'm trying to get an after market radio in there with car play, upon doing a lot of research I've come to few possible routes as potential solutions:
1. Jagdroid - The UK is a great country that I'm across the pond from, and while I'm in school for electrical engineering I don't know that I want to take up the challenge of the DIY version.
2. Tesla Screen - I've seen those tesla screens on amazon for the car, they seem sketchy at best, and give the price would rather avoid.
3. Nav to non-nav swap - I've noticed quite a few have swapped non-nav for nav, so I imagine the reverse must be possible, which would then let me get a normal dash kit and install a new radio. However, I've read a few things on here that make it sound more difficult than I originally thought it would be (such as the climate control), so have any of you made this swap? If not does anyone know where I could find wiring diagrams for an '08 V6 both nav and non-nav?
I'm confident (enough) in my abilities to solder wire and/or create new connectors to get this done, but any advice/diagrams would be immensely helpful. Haven't been able to find much in the way of diagrams for the '08 either, but I'm not sure I'm looking in the right places as I've never tried to find wiring diagrams for a car before.
Thanks!

You can find the wiring diagrams up to 2006 here JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource
I don't expect there was much change after that.

The conversion is very complicated, but it is posiable. The best way is to have a donor car of the same model year to take apart for all the parts and wireing you need.
The issues is with the climate control that is done via the NAV screen and the DVD drive modual in the trunk. Non-nav cars have different wireing connectors and loom to the nav cars.
The short answer is that it is just not worth it.
The brutal answer is that if you wanted to fit an after market audio unit you should have purchased an S-type without the nav screen!
