S type - Off topic section
Well guys, JoycesJag saw the "Off topic section" within the X type section and demanded parity for the Stypers, or else
Anyhow, the idea, is any off topic subject that the Stypers want to discuss amongst themselves can be posted here. Pretty much anything you like within the forum rules, so post away thanks to JJ

Thanks Jim!!
Well guys here is the place where we can take the threads off subject/topic or in our case HIJACK the crap out of them! Its our own virtual bar that, like Jim mentioned anything from myself wearing my undies on my head while mowing the lawn to Hi-Fi to whatever within forum rules.
If we decide to hijack maybe say bar area and we will know where to come to read about well anything.
So grab a beer (my case a cheap one) and start typing!
Cheers!

Here we go with the cheap beer lol!
Hey Jim - Question for you.. Would you be willing to sticky a thread on confirmed Cross Referenced Parts from Ford which have been confirmed from our research to work for our Jaguars? Generally speaking the parts are less than half the cost of the Jaguar equivalents. So it could prove to be a significant savings to all the members who are into turning wrenches on their own cars.
Thanks,
George

Hey George,
always happy to help in any way I can, especially when it benefits the forum and its members. In this particualr case I don't know if it necessarily constitutes a sticky, but certainly a FAQ thread and linked to the quick FAQ link thread.
Please advise if / when you post this and either myself / mod will be happy to make this happen for you
Cheers George

This cross-referenced Ford-to-Jaguar parts thread idea is fantastic. If everyone will contribute when they find various parts that will work for us, it should continue to build up over time and become one of the most valuable resources available to us here on the forum....

Rick,
I'm too busy with my frickin' master bathroom demolition and re-build to spend much time here on the forum right now. What was supposed to be a ten-day project is now heading into its third week with no end in sight. Don't even get me started on all the reasons why....
Maybe some of the other guys will discover this thread soon. When I get more time, maybe I'll post some other interesting off-topic things as well. Or tell a few dirty jokes. But right now, I just need to blow off some frickin' steam somewhere other than in my damn master bathroom....

Off to change another diaper!
I don't care if she walks soon or not...... I just want her to be potty trained.... $45.00 bucks a month for diapers!

Guess I shouldn't be complaining too much about our master bathroom situation. I'd rather be dealing with the current lapse in the progress of this project as opposed to handling loaded diapers 24/7. At least I can walk outside and pee in the woods whenever I want to. Until you guys get your little rug rats potty-trained and walking, you're in deep doo-doo....

Told my work that all they needed to do was give me a 20k to 30k raise and then Jenn could stay home and not work.... Yea, like that is going to happen...

Maybe Jenn should get the raise and you can join me in the at home dad network!!
Even though we are bums, who watch Jerry Springer and drink beer all day! WRONG!!

Rick,
We had all that rain last week, up until Wednesday or Thursday. We needed it badly and I'm glad for every drop that fell last week. In another two or three days, we'll need more. I hope we'll be fortunate enough to get it....
It's gorgeous outside today but it will be in the low 90s. I hate hot & humid weather - bring on October!!
I'm winding down the master bathroom project right now. Just put the second coat of oil-based paint on the windows and cabinet frame this morning. Two days needed for that to dry, and one final coat just on the cabinet frame may be needed. Then, two more days to dry, and I can finally re-hang the cabinet doors, finish installing all the hardware, and I'm done. From the first day of demolition to the final day of putting the room back together, this project will have taken right at 25 days and cost me right at $16,500...
