S-Type performance chip

S-Type performance chip
Has anyone used, or have any feed back on these chips that can increase HP and improve gas mileage?
JAGUAR S-TYPE GF Peformance Chip
Any feedback would be great. Thanks

No such chip can exist because what would need to be done would be a complete reprogram of the PCM.
Realistically, because of emissions laws you cannot expect to improve MPG - except by buying a different car (one that's lighter).
Things you can do are those done by the hyper-milers (such as your driving style, thinner tires, higher tire pressures, etc). Chips are not the way to go unless you want to risk serious engine damage.

If you're not achieving close to 25-30 mpg on flat level ground at normal highway speeds, there's something wrong with your car.

There are no chips that will accomplish this, just as there are no plugs or filters, magic additives (or anything else) that will positively affect fuel consumption.

I’ve been getting roughly 15 mpg/city, last weekend I took a 4 hour drive over to Eastern WA and got roughly 22 mpg/highway.
It appears that I’m getting close to what the book and dealer says, however, it would be nice to improve the mpg if possible.

I have a 2000 S Type w/ 4.0 V8 with almost 200K miles on the drivetrain. I'm getting between 18 - 18.5 MPG city and 25 - 28 MPG highway. I'm very meticulous about maintenance, including using OES plugs/coils and ensuring I have high end tires installed, properly inflated and fully balanced - rims balanced too and getting my suspension checked/adjusted to Brutal specs every 9 - 12 mos.
One thing I did was install a K&N airfilter. Good difference...

Assuming the car is in perfect running order, the only real thing you can do is change your driving style. No magic bullets. Are you calculating MPG by hand or via onboard computer? Do you have the OEM sized tires/wheels on the car?
Other stuff helps, like not hauling around extra stuff in the trunk, proper inflation etc. I know of one member here who got creative with some racing tape around the front spoiler/body panel gaps doing some tests with MPG - can't recall his username but he's on here from time to time.
Maybe yank off the side view mirrors if you don't need em (that is a joke...a poor one) to improve aero.
In all seriousness, I wouldn't even want to try to hypermile my Jag. They are fun to drive, fuel is part of the cost of having fun. Enjoy it.

Gas mileage
'06 stype VDP (4.2 normally aspirated) - My onboard computer shows me getting nearly 29 mpg running at 75 mph at touch less than 2,000 rpm. What I get around town doesn't matter much - I don't do that many miles around town. As someone said elsewhere on this forum, you're getting '70s muscle car performance with comfort, a civilized ride and good gas mileage into the bargain.

Personally I just use a light foot on the gas pedal. I see a red light from a distance and i lift my foot and let the cars speed carry it there rather then holding down the gas then slamming on the brakes (i see that all the time) Im averaging 16-18 mpg city/highway combined. I used to get 13-15 so efficient driving def improves mpg.
