S-Type R 2005 battery drain (HID light relay)

Hi all,
I have had a problem with battery drain for the past couple of months making me drive with 1 spare battery or running up the second floor with quite heavy battery.
I have finally had a look at the issue and found out that it is caused by Relay 13 in engine bay (RH HID Relay). After removing, it the drain drops from over 3A to 0.65A.
I have ordered a replacement relay, however I don't hope for much as when I put another relay in this position, the drain was reappearing.
Another sign of this leading to HID lights is that when locking/unlocking the car, only indicators should come on, but now with the relay in its position, also HID lights come on for a second.
Can anyone suggest where the issue could originate from?

Hello Michal,
IMHO, start by downloading the Wiring Diagrams for your MY, and the link on "Quiescent Current Drain" . . . both to be found in the Sticky "HOW TO . . ." at the top of this forum.
Your isolation of the RH HID Relay is a good start, but even a QCD of 0.65A is more than 20X over the limit and not acceptable.
With suggested resources, you can plan, then carry out a methodical approach to diagnosis and fault finding. By recording plenty of notes along the way, you will be able to post back full results for an accurate analysis.
Cheers,
