I have a video of the noise but not sure how to upload.

What's people's opinion on the cause of this. The previous owner said he didn't run low on oil. Is it a bearing material failure ? The crank looks OK, will just polish up.
Should I fit the s,Allestree shells available from Jaguar ( yellow ) or the ones that it should have ? I have plasti-gauge so will check before returning assembly.

Strange damage to the bearings, like the white metal was washed out. I have seen this before though, make sure the oil pump and pressure relief valve are good when you put it back together. You got lucky with the crank and rods. Unsure what bearings you should run, but usually aftermarket brands can be better quality than stock.
