Ok I looked at the invoice it's Castrol SAF-XJ SAE75W-140

So I just got an STR and I am noticing a humming or whining sound under light throttle. Could it be the differential? And if so does changing the fluid help to silence it? The car is so very quiet, but this humming is mildly irritating.

Okay nobody replied so I'll try it again with video! I shot this on my phone tonight on my way home. I just had the differential oil changed today, and it didn't make any difference. Please turn on your speakers and have a listen.

Mine was making a similar noise, so I had someone sit in the back seat and they said the noise got quieter so I just chalked it up to the blower.
