S-Type Service Manuals?

We have a 2005 S-Type 3.0. Before the factory warranty runs out in mid-July I'd like to find a reasonably-priced copy of the service manual specific to our car. I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars to the dealership for a copy. I've been unable to find one from the usual sources such as Haynes or Chiltons. Anyone out there found one somewhere?
I wonder how accurate and comprehensive the Alldata on-line subscriptions are. Anyone used Alldata before and if so, what is your opinion of its value? Call me old-fashioned but I would prefer a hard-copy manual that I can drag underneath the car with me when needed. Nothing bogs me down when working on a car like having to stop what I'm doing, wipe my hands, wash up thoroughly, make sure I'm not tracking anything into the house, and fire up the computer in order to read more about what it is I'm trying to fix. Sometimes a book beats a computer and in this case I'd rather have a book....

Hi Jon,
I downloaded the JTIS application. Even though it only goes up to 2003, I found I can use the great majority of it for my S-Type. Making printouts is somewhat of a pain because of the design of the application, but it can be done. I've also gone directly into the directories (a rather tedious process which I probably couldn't repeat) and printed out the associated .pdf files.
Regarding Alldata, you'll have to rely on Ken's professional judgement on that one.
Good luck,
Mike

Jon I used alldata for my valve cover gaskets and the oil pan gasket replacements. I have used alldata for a number of vehicles that I have owned and or have repaired for someone else. I find it to be VERY accurate!!! I know its a pain to wipe and type but for $25.00 bucks or so go for it. Hows the car behaving?

Hi guys.
Do either of you have this service manual still? I am running Windows 7. I am trying to find a service manual for my husband. It looks like I have a gasket problem (at only 36k) and I was hoping to have this manual ready for him when he gets home. He prefers fixing our cars. Take care!
