Default S Type V8 2001 Heater problems

Hi i'm after a bit of advise,

2001 S Type V8 only got 2 weeks ago and when i went to use the heater today i noticed it never worked,

With the heater on full it blows cold on drivers feet and window vent. and only slightly warm on passenger window vent and nothing out on the feet,
Any ideas please??

Be sure to purge all air out of heater core circuit. Then go from there.

Quite a few things it could be, including a DCCV (heater valve) stuck closed (commonly fail open, but hey), an air lock (fairly common), blocked heater core (rare), failed module (commonish, usually due to the valve taking it out).

If you measure voltage on both sides of the 3-pin DCCV connector to the middle, they should vary as you change the selected temperature I think. If they do, the module's OK. (If they don't, not sure you can condemn the module as it could be getting bad data?)

Heater problems are common so well worth reading previous threads for ideas.

It's a little awkward but nothing too difficult.
The valve lives down at the bottom of the radiator on the left side if you are at the front of the car.
