Salt lake city heater repair
First, i know there are a lot of heater threads and i have read them. I need help finding someone in Salt Lake City who can diagnos and fix my heater issue correctly. I have a 2000 s-type 4.0 with heater issues. Does anyone know of a shop that can figure out what is wrong and repair in Salt Lake? I'm tired of throwing money at this and I do not have the tools to do this myself.
Here is the problem. Passenger side blows significantly cooler that drivers.
What I have done so far.
Took the car to the local Jag dealer and they replaced the DCCV valve and said it was fixed. Not... After talking to them about it again their solution is to keep throwing money at this till it is fixed. They didnt think they could find the problem any other way. they did not seem very interested in trying.
I replaced the heater control panel. Same problem, no change.
Took the car to a local garage that found bad wires in the harness above radiator. They said it was fixed. Still no change.
It seems to blow this way if it is on HI or controlled by sensors.
Any suggestions? I would love to take it to someone who could actually diagnose and fix. it is getting cold here.
Thank you!
