Sat nav connections
Good evening
I own a 2007 jagaur s type which does not have sat nave (screen) I have purchased a second hand screen unit on eBay but it does not have the same connectors. Is there any way that this unit can be adapted to fit? I have included picture of the old and new.

There is quite a bit more to the system then the display unit, e.g., the climate control module (which is mounted under the dash near the glove box, and the actual GPS unit as well. You will need all the components, plus a suitable wiring harness to connect them.

As above... You need the following from a donor car:
The display unit. (You have that!)
The climate control module.
The additional wiring harness to connect the above.
The DVD navigation unit that goes in the boot/trunk.
The navigation DVD for your region. (The newest ones have maps from 2011.)
An additional d2b fibre connector/lead for the DVD drive/nav module.
Even then I am not sure it is 'plug and play' you may well need to use the Jaguar SDD software to integrate it to your car.
The RGB video signal and the control for the navigation screen comes from the navigation DVD unit in the trunk/boot.
In my opinion it is not worth the effort.
For you without a screen from new it would perhaps be far better to just fit a modern double din head unit and keep the climate controls as they are.
(But then the clock in the dials on the dashboard will not work.)
