I have 2 scan tools.
Maxitrip - does a lot of monitoring, ing spark on cyl1 (wish it checked all cyls but it doesn't) manifold pressure, water, air tenpt ,engine lights and much more,if you google you can pull up a pdf owners manual telling you everything it does..
Other scan tool I have is the Innova 3030, its more basic but does the job.

If you happen to see the Meet post. I found out how to make a map with pinmarks and comments. If you want George I can make one for the scan tool database. There would be a pin on the city that people give and in the comments I'll put what scan tool they have. I'll make it private so people would have to get the link from the forums to see it. That way people can just check out the map and see who is close to them then send a pm. I'll just have their screen name as the pin. What do you think? I can put it together off your first post today and post up the link.

I got the map pretty much done. I'm at school now so I'll link it when get home and you update the list I'll update it on the map. If people just put an area I am just pinning the central area of what they put.

 

Alright. I got everyone on the list so far. As we get more I'll add them too the map. I kept it as screen names on here so it was easier for someone to just look for them on here to send a PM if they are in need of a scantool. If someone just put an area such as southern Ohio, southern MD etc. I just put a pin in a centralized location in that area. I think its a pretty cool way to find whos closest to you if in need of a scan tool. As you guys can tell I'm more of a visual, hands-on person ie maps, videos. LOL.

Let me know what you think. Should I add anything etc?? You should be able to click a pin and get directions for an estimate on how long it would take to get to that area also in case you are a little ways away.
There wasnt anything listed for Thermo as far as what scan tools he has. So if you catch this Thermo can you list what scan tool you have and I'll add it to the map.

What is the best software I can get for the elm327? I really don't care about price just want the best
