Seat no longer moves back when I exit vehicle
I have a 2000 Jaguar S Type and about 3 weeks ago my seat just randomly stopped moving back when I exit the vehicle (take key out of ignition).
Is this a minor problem? Anyone have experience with this?
Any and all help is appreciated.

RE: Seat no longer moves back when I exit vehicle
I never experienced the seat moving back on egress. However, that may be because the seat is always positioned as far back as possible. The cramped leg room design in the 2000 S-Type should have resulted in someone at Jaguar being fired.
Furthermore, when the seat is moved as far forward as possible on the seat rail, not even a 6 year old's leg thighs could fit in that crevice.
What is more, the seat forward/backward motor is so slow, I doubt this would be welcome motion while trying to exit the vehicle.

gbdiver - my sterring wheel does not move up either.
It's odd and actually, its annoying because I really liked the fact that it moved allowing for a comfortable exit from the verhicle.
Anyone experience this?
I've already tried unplugging the battery for a day..
