Just wanted to show the results of my dye job yesterday. I was kinda hoping I could just redo the scratches but no way; the leather had changed colour over the years. Yet redoing the whole shebang was easy. Like a new paint job for the interior. I was also able to do interior trim that simply wouldn't come clean, like center console and door areas. Quite the deal for 50 bucks.

Here's some before pics that show the damage and discolouration.

The driver's side upper bolster was the worst.

And look how it turned out.

The upper part of the pic shows the new dye compared to the old, discoloured leather.

I could have filled the creases as well, but I prefer the texture. But what a world of difference it makes.

WOW!!! What a difference in deed. Looks great.

Is this a wipe on ~ wipe off product or spray?

Not really, it's a thick dye that you brush on and work with a strange (included) bristle brush to ensure it doesn't leave streaks. It dries very quickly. It was slow at first as I was very cautious, but after a while I realized I could pretty much slop it on, spread it out, work it a bit and she's good to go. Thin coats worked well, as only the worst areas needed a second coat. It covers very well. These guys sell the kit, and have factory colours. If I ever sell a used car with leather seats again, I'll definitely use this stuff first. takes years off the appearance.
