When I purchased my 2003 S-Type it came with an aftermarket radio already installed. The previous owner also gave me the original radio w/code. My wife would like to have the original back in the car but I don't have the original pigtail.
- I pulled the aftermarket radio and its pigtail is a typical aftermarket type which doesn't fit the stock radio.
- I've spoke to both Crutchfield and Metra and they don't carry that OEM connector / pigtail.
- Stock radio does NOT have navigation
Does anyone here know where I can get one? It's a 20 PIN connector and here are some pics for reference. If anyone could help me locate a source or maybe a used one I'd highly appreciate it!

Can't help but since you don't have factory navigation my recommendation is to replace what you have with another aftermarket unit. Anything produced today is a far better head unit than the stock one. There are nice double DIN units with navigation. Note also the date on your factory unit - 2002. You are installing an obsolete 20+ year old piece of electronics. Does that unit even work properly? As you know factory head units are NOT the highest in quality.
You are lucky because if you had factory navigation you would be in for a far more expensive swap.
Is there a reason she wants the stock radio?

When you've been married as long as I have and put the poor woman through decades of heartache.. and she still stays with you.. You just say "Ok sweetie"
(btw its her car. Mine is a Z06)
Your best bet is going to be contacting salvage yards/breakers, or frequenting "pick your part" type places... Anything to further the course of true love...

Totally agree with clubairth. I removed my stock HU and replaced it with a Pioneer unit and it just kicks butt. I live in the mountains outside of Yosemite and the new unit gets signals 100 miles away.
Plus the "soundstage" is so much more amazing.
Soundstage is where your music is laid out across the windshield so you know where each instrument and singer is located on stage. My old factory unit was quite frankly pathetic.
Just me but I would NEVER go back to a 20 year old factory radio.
