Default Servo Doors

I made a post earlier, but I think it got buried. Can a bad servo door or blend door keep the a/c from working. I have hot air blowing all across. Everything on my a/c checks out (diagnosis and mechanical). My son, who has been doing the work, said that a box behind the dash is pretty cool to the touch. Any advice would help.

You need to read ALL the codes!

You need to check if there are any "C" codes. These are where the blend door errors are stored.

Don't have a reader that reads those codes. After fixing leak under supercharger, I will have to take it someplace to get that type of codes read. Still doesn't answer the question, can it cause the a/c to just blow hot air?

If there's a ticking or gurgling noise behind the dash, more noticeable after ignition off, the actuator motors keep hunting for their base position, and the a/c may or may not be OK. If there's no noise, the door(s) may well be jammed shut and the cold air can't get through.

My STR is the same year and the same mileage as yours. I changed all 4 actuator motors about 10000 miles ago.

Get your VIN and lookup JTB00066. Actually, I had the problem even though my VIN was not in the range mentioned in the JTB.

That's a good point and if you have not searched to find it you should.

See if the attached TB helps.
