Yep! Have the same year and same problem. I bought a new one after snapping the plastic tip.The new one still gets checked with a push from my thumb often.I think it is a design problem and requires you to move the tabs evenly behind the sheet metal. If you find the real problem, please post.

Yep, same problem here also -the tab on the side marker is weakened - the only "sure fire" fix is to order a replacement - around $30 on www.amazon.com with free shipping.

When taking off the side marker lenses to tint them black on Leona, one of the tabs broke on one of them (it actually seemed broke when I took the lens off). How did I get it to stay on? With some trusty trim ahesive. Keeps it in place and the lens can be removed (to change bulbs or whatever) and then reapplied with the assesive. The kind of assesive I use is, literally, called "trim ahesive", the clear kind. Comes in a tube and is about $4-$7.
Should you buy and replace broken lenses? Sure, if you want. But this is my method. JbB
