Slight 2003 Oil Leak
So I noticed this while topping off my coolant earlier today (that's a different issue), but this little guy seems to be leaking oil. Now I've come here first without doing any previous research (I literally walked in from work and posted this), so Imma look into this, but does anyone know what it is and how to go about fixing the leak?
Thanks!
Thanks!

This is a super easy DIY job. Get the VVT solenoid seal from a Jag dealer, I think they are around $15 -$20 bucks each.
Unplug the cable and pry up the seal with a screwdriver. Clean off the solenoid with a rag dampened in solvent, then press the new seal in place with your fingers and then reconnect the cables.

Cam cover removal should be pretty DIY and the cam gasket is reusable also...

I believe the cam cover has to be removed to get to the VVT seal (I have a 2000 4.0) Not sure if that seal can be removed with the cam cover on. I believe the seal has a groove in it that fits onto the cam cover.

The VVT solenoid O-ring seals for my wife's XK8 were about half the dealership's price at motorcarsltd.com in Houston, TX including the shipping. You can call them at (800) 338-5238 to check for availability on your S-Type. I essentially ordered two for the price of one at the dealership....

Thanks for all the reply's! I'm head to the dealership later this week to get the engine light looked at (I'm pretty sure it's unrelated). If they have the part, I may end up just getting it there for convenience. Otherwise, I'll give that place a call.
That manual program though...it's a bit complicated to get up and running. Haven't had a chance yet to give it the proper time.
