Source for Throttle Bodies Found
As an old-school guy, I like to clean my throttle body and replace the TPS every 30K miles. I have learned on this forum that the replacement TPS for my 04 S-Type is not available, and those of you with TPS trouble are looking for reasonably priced throttle bodies.
While searching for a replacement TPS, I came across a vendor in the UK who has NEW throttle bodies at prices below the so-called rebuilt units and used units in the US.
For example, a new TB for my S-Type is GBP108 plus about GBP30 for shipping. That works out to about $220 delivered. I don't plan to order one until my TPS gives trouble, but it is nice to know.
The vendor is JustJagsUK.com.
I hope this helps some of you guys with TPS trouble avoid outrageous prices.

Thanks Baldeagle
Something I can relate to as recently, albeit on my sons cars, 2 Vauxhall Astra's that have recently suffered a small loss of power and hesitancy when accelerating.
I took their throttle bodies off and gave them a good clean.....This was at 56k miles so they were more than a little coked up and oily.
Made a world of difference to both cars and the ywere instantly smoother and more responsive, all for the sake of £5 for a can of carb cleaner and 30 mins time.

The price that I quoted in my post above came to me in a reply to my email inquiry. I suspect that it is already net of VAT. A post in another thread indicated that the price I was quoted by email is different from the list price on their web site. I have no explanation for that. So---your mileage may vary. It may be worthwhile to email or call them.
