Sparking issue
I have a 2002 S-type with the 4.0L and I tried to start it, and it turned over but was not firing, the diagnostic computer we plugged in read no fault codes. Any ideas? Has anyone had this problem?
I was thinking it could be a cam position sensor that is not giving the cue to fire.

Buscher, unless you have blown the fuse for the ECM (not possible since the car is turning over), you can pretty much eliminate a spark issue. I would check to make sure you have fuel pressure (should be in the neighborhood of 50 psi with the key in the RUN position and the motor not running or 40 psi with the engine running).
What part of VA are you in. I'm just over the border in MD (due east of Richmond on the MD peninsula).
If you want more help, let me know. I will do what I can.
