Default SPEAKING OF WHEELS . . . . .

I have 18 x 8.5 wheels on my Jag now. While driving on the highway yesterday I saw Jag
with somewheels. The rear looked alittle wider than mine and they werea little larger
in size. Made the car look sporty.

It was really "really" hard to see the size cruising at 80 mph next to it.

I am considering investing in larger wheels. 20’s maybe (8.5 front and 9.5 rear)

But before I make such an investment, I would like to see what they look like (on the car).

Does anyone have any pictures of wheels (19 & 20's) on their ride they are willing
to share.

Thanks

How bad are you rubbing with the 20's? I wanted an aggressive lip setup, but I wanted to achieve mine with 19's in mind in the rear. I was thinking 18 X 8 fronts and 19 X 9 Rears. I don't want to have to worry about rubbing over bumps, and I want my wheels to sit flush.

I am with you 03 S , I do not want any rubbing. The more I research , I am thinking 19 x 8.5 front and 19 x 9.5 rear.

Does anyone have 18 X 8.5 front and 18 X 9.5 rear on their car yet? If so, does anyone have any issues with rubbing etc.? I'm interested in knowing.

The R's have staggered set up but then again we have modified suspension too so im not sure what effects it has.

I know that the S Type R has the staggered setup with a different suspension, but I wasn't sure how aggressive they went with the sizes on the wheels. Plus if I go aftermarket wheels, I don't intend on keeping stock suspension for long.

The correct sizes I believe are 18x8 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear with 245/40-18 in the front tire size and 275/35-18 in the rear.

Well I suppose that answers the question as to whether or not 9.5 will fit in the rear. 18 X 9.5 rears would allow for all 4's to be the same size as opposed to having larger rear sizes to make price for tires more expensive also.
