Hello, I am new to the forums and have zero idea on how to PM. Would someone please enlighten me on this process as I would love to get an air intake. My email is colinmirey@gmail.com, thanks!
As a newbie, you cannot use the forum PM system. There is a minimum number of posts and period of membership required before you can do this. I've sent caldoofy a PM to check the thread for new posts.

My tube - 80mm pipe made out of stainless steel with pcv take off that allows factory hose (pcv to intake) to be used. Quad reinforced silicone joiners ( unsure of what Mina use).
Hope that helps.

31 wheel horse power gain from 4 branch manifolds
Going to put this in here as after a guinea pig to see if these will fit on the s type R.
I have had these manifolds made and now fitted to my car as the title suggests I have made a 31 hp and around 25 lbs ft gain at the wheels with no other changes to the car. My xjr x358 is currently sitting at 380 whp on this dyno with the mods listed in my signature. Next up is a live map to optimise everything!
Below is the power graph blue before and red after.
Ideally need some one in the north east of England Newcastle upon Tyne area to have a look at their vehicle with a view to fitting to see if these will go into the s type.
Cost will be £1800 the pair plus shipping and that also includes the 200 cell sport cats.

That’s not a bad price at all for quality headers with catalyrics. Unfortunately the lack of being able to tune my car has put a major damper on me wanting to invest in it performance wise anymore.

I am still puzzled as to why you are not getting the power output you want especially with the twin screw etc. Unless I am completely wrong is Avos' car not running around the 700hp mark with the stock ECU and tune on his xkr?
Think your first step is to get the Dyno run sorted and get the power and torque graphs along with boost pressure and afr there may be something a miss.
Also I think you mentioned you were using the stock exhaust, well shameless plug, but that 2 1/4 inch system isn't going to flow well at all for the volume you are putting through it. I am looking to trial a twin 3 inch system to see if there is any restriction with my setup.
I still think it's worth approaching paramount performance to see if they can load a map onto your ECU as Alec Escolmes car was successfully tuned by them so they must have cracked it!
Just a couple of thoughts, don't give up!

I gotta have one!
Well I gotta have one. I dont even have my car yet. Its being shipped as we speak so it should be here in a few days. When I went to pick it up, I got sabotaged by the dreaded leaking cooling line at the rear of the supercharger so I left it out in CA and flew back.
So im going on a posting exercise to get my posts up. Once I can pm I will!
cheers!

I've removed the eMail address and phone number from your post and sent a message to Caldoofy. Never a good idea to post personal details on a public forum.

Message Caldoofy, give him your car details and he will build you a Caldoofy intake pipe with the correct fittings for your engine, when you receive it make sure you use a good cleaner on the inside first before fitting it in case some fine metal cuttings or dirt deposits have secreted themselves during shipping, I used a pre-paint liquid on a soft micro cloth then let it dry 20 minutes before fitting, be prepared for a huge improvement in take off and the whine is tremendous
