You guys will love this intake. I was originally going to make my own but for the price you just cant beat this. I also used a mina gallary intake and used the factory cold are scoop to feed cool air into my mina heat shield area. Its installed on my 2004 xjr but its the same setup you guys have. Im going to update this post with a photo in a few..I'm also interested in that stage II intake. Seems that there is a bit of room to improve upon the rear half of the intake at least on my xjr

IMHO the Mina intakes are absolutely garbage.

I ordered one, they sent me inferior plastic parts which warped for the MAF mount, then later admitted that they now make the part out of aluminum, and that I received an old part.

This was only after a week of working with their technical support.

this kit is about as good as a cheap *** 5$ air cleaner, and some duct tape on a paper tube, especially going to a nice part like Csldoofy's.

I'd recommend the stock airbox with the WOT mod, or just finish the job and aim downward for a cold air intake.

Sorry you feel that way. I installed mine prior to getting the caldoofy pipe and had no problems whatsoever. Fit was perfect. No drivability issues. Only modification was adding a hole to route my factory cold air snorkel. When adding the Caldoofy pipe it was merely a swap in. Been driving this setup for over a year. I also have one on my XKR. Sorry you had issues but IMO for the price it was well worth it. Sound wise and id assume from a power standpoint as there was a boost increase. Sure does seem quicker than before..And I had the WOT flap mod as I was concerned there could be an issue..PLUS the factory airbox seems to lack good airflow even with the flap mod. The jaguar airbox and intake tube was all about noise reduction without attempting to hurt performance.

Hello,
Has anyone have dyno sheets before and after this kit ? Wonder if stock tube really is so restricting that this kind of kit will ingrease horses without any other mods made. Just curious and interested cause planning mods to my stock STR and comparing benefits between different mods.

Best regards

I have yet been able to get to the same dyno I did my baseline on. However restrictive..Yes. The power is made by removing the restriction and in turn making more boost. If you don't mind some blower whine best mod for the money by far

Pms all replied, for info the price remains at $230 delivered to the USA . The turnaround time has increased unfortunately and is now upto 6 weeks from order placement this is due to increased work commitments and the fact they are all made to order.

I do not offer an induction pipe for the na jags unfortunately.

Best regards.
