Steering wheel shakes at 40mph+

hey guys, I am getting a slight shake starting about 40mph, and then as I go faster it starts to get worse. It is not extremely bad, but gets quite annoying. I had a road force balance done thinking it was going to correct the issue, but it did not. Also did a 4 wheel alignment but that did not help either. Entire suspension is brand new except for the rear stabilizer bars, and the front stabilizer links are going bad at least that was what I was told.... What do you guys think I should be looking at? thank you.

As with the older Jags.
Tailshaft centre bearing. NOT a common failure on the newer stuff, but many, many on the earlier cars.
I have one now on the X300 just starting to give the "rumbles" , and a shake every now and then. I know its that bearing, had waaaay too many fail to miss that feeling.
Steering tie rod ends, or rack ends will also give that, however the wheel align people should have picked that.
Front wheel bearings, maybe. Again, that should have picked up at alignment time.

great advice grant, i've had this issue i been trying forever to diagnose and eliminate, gives me something else to look at...
can't find it on rock-auto, JTIS refers to it as the 'driveshaft center bearing', which is the one you're referring to, correct?
wonder if its the same as the Lincoln LS part...

I have not yet found an S Type bearing aftermarket. The earlier cars (XJ Series) including X308, is a CB050, which is currently cheaper by a huge amount thru genuine, bugga.
Sometimes a sample dropped on the counter of a bearing supplier, and NO mention of Jaguar, just state you want of these, has excellent results, sometimes not.

ok so here is the story with the shake. Shake is gone! I had the tires re balanced road force. The guy said the 1 of the tires was not balanced correctly and he fixed it. Next thing was that he took the tires from the rear and put them in the front. So I am not sure if that actually fixed the issue, or if the re balance did. Just glad that the shake is gone. Only thing I noticed however is that the tires that were in the rear but are in the front now are a bit worn in the inner tires. Not sure if maybe before I did all the rear suspension bushings like upper/lower control arms, sway bar links etc were causing the tires to wear unevenly? What do you guys think about that?
