I bought my first Jaguar last year, a 2006 S-Type with the big touchscreen and navigation that does not work. I crashed that car and do not plan to fix it. I want to replace it with another 2005-2008 S-Type 4.2L that does NOT have the climate controls integrated with the stereo system so that I could upgrade to whatever fancy stereo systems they are offering these days. Is there only one way the stereo area will look if it is does not have those things integrated or are there various stock stereo systems in the non-integrated cars? If there are various, what should I look for and why? What would I be missing out on if I go with certain ones? I found this photo. Is this the only way they can look if they do not have integrated stereo and climate?
