Default Sticking in park and the brake switch.

Hey Guys.

Just a quick question from a recent post of mine. I have been having trouble getting out of park (s type 2003 3.0). Following your advice I eventually got under and looked at the linkages. They were all tight so I feared it was the gearbox itself until I looked at the switches on my foot brake. There are 2 of them and both seem intact. But, when I gently try to move the shifter out of park a few times until the 'stuck' problem happens I can feel the shifter click free when I release and press the brake a few times. This to me indicates its one of the 2 switches. Would you agree and what would you advise.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Yes, it could well be the switch(es). Doesn't happen as often as the other problem you checked already but it's been posted about on here before.

You'll need to figure which switch and whether it's faulty or misadjusted or even if it's the connector or wiring.
